Allow your senses to be stimulate with the pungent smells of the old abandoned rice fields, the breathtaking sights of the great ospreys, leaping fish, and the occasional sighting of dolphins.
Climb the hills of the Red Sand Beaches, bask in the sun, or wonder the trails and lose yourself in the beauty of this precious Jewel called Sandy Island.
ITEMS TO WEAR
Sneakers, sandals, surf slippers, footwear you don’t mind getting wet. Headgears such as brimmed hat, cap, or sun visor are good to have with you. During the warmer months, dress so that you don’t over heat but also avoid being sun burned. Towels to wet and cover your legs are advised.
ITEMS TO CONSIDER BRINGING
Sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses w/strap, waterproof or disposable cameras, zip lock bags, a sack lunch or snacks, bottled water. Kayaks are equipped to carry small 6-pack type coolers. Bring any personal emergency/ allergy medications. If you are concerned about any medical conditions that you may have, please consult your physician before participating. Guides are trained in First Aid and CPR, but are not qualified to determine whether you should paddle with a heart condition, pregnancy, bad back, joint pains, etc. Moderate physical ability, but no prior kayak paddling experience is necessary to participate. We suggest leaving valuables locked in your car or left at home to avoid the risk of dropping into the water.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be used toward rescheduling due to inclement weather only. We may cancel tours at our discretion with no charge to you in the event of bad weather or other circumstances.
